A home study is required for all domestic
and international adoptions. The home study process gives
prospective adoptive parents a chance to discuss aspects of
adoption that may concern them and to become educated in adoption
related issues. The home study will meet all Texas licensing
standards and can be used for any international and domestic
adoption. A home study will ensure that children are placed
in safe and loving homes.
Post placement
services:
Post placement supervision and services are provided to help
finalize the adoption. The number of obligatory post placement
reports varies and Agape Adoption Services will work with you
to ensure your adoption meets all legal requirements.
Communication
with child-placing agency:
Agape Adoption Services will communicate directly with your
child placement agency to ensure that all requirements are
fulfilled in your home study report and in your follow-up
post-placement visits.
Length of time
to complete report(s):
All home studies and post placement reports
will be completed in 2 weeks after home visit.
Fees:
Home Study: $650 - $950
Home Study Update: $300 - $500
Post Placement Visit & Report: $200
